Stonehaven

The Stonehaven neighborhood in South Charlotte was developed over a long period from the 1950’s to 1980’s, resulting in a wide range of attractive, character-filled homes. It includes the subdivisions of Medearis, Olde Stonehaven, Waverly Hall, Queens Grant, and Stonehaven, each with their own personalities and attributes. The mature landscaping and diversity of architecture in the area is one of its many draws. You may find a 60’s brick ranch next to a 70’s split level across the street from an 80’s two story traditional. Still, each street maintains its own character and consistency, and the organic nature of the neighborhood’s development prevents such seeming juxtapositions from being jarring. There were many reputable builders of Stonehaven’s history including Thomasson and Tillotson.
